Atlantic Towing visit at MEGA

On 13th of November, Mr. Jim Irving, CEO Irving Industries, Mr. Don Shepherd, Director Technology and Development, Mr. Flemming Soerensen, Vice President, Operations – NSPS from Irving Shipbuilding Inc,, together with Mr. Mario Gionet, ARC Towage Fleet Superintendent and Kitty Looijer, Project Manager of the 4 x ARC tugs from Damen Shipyards Group visited MEGA. As Atlantic Towing is the client for a PSV 5000 that is engineered by MEGA at this moment, the visit consists in touring and discussions with our projects coordinators regarding the stage of the project.

On 8th of January 2015, we received the first important visit from abroad: guests from Maersk Group came to MEGA: Mr. Carsten Plougmann Andersen, CEO, Mr. Claus T. Sørensen, COO, Mr. Peter K.Jacobsen, Director, Mr. Ivan Seistrup, CTO, Mr. Fredrik Olsson, Legal, Mr. Henrik Ekmann, Mrs. Lotte Lundberg, Group, Mr. Jonas Agerskov, Finance and Mr. Alex Znacko, Site Manager, as they are the clients for the second ship DOC 8500, which is engineered right now by MEGA. The visit consists in touring and discussions with our projects coordinators regarding the stage of the project.

This visit followed another important visit we’ve received last year, on 13th of November, from Atlantic Towing:  Mr. Jim Irving, CEO Irving Industries, Mr. Don Shepherd, Director Technology and Development, Mr. Flemming Soerensen, Vice President, Operations – NSPS from Irving Shipbuilding Inc,, together with Mr. Mario Gionet, ARC Towage Fleet Superintendent and Kitty Looijer, Project Manager of the 4 x ARC tugs from Damen Shipyards Group. As Atlantic Towing is the client for a PSV 5000, which is also engineered by MEGA, the delegation was very interested in discussing technical items with our project team.
