Galati is becoming a key point on the NATO map. Starting July 2025, the shipyard is focusing on the production of military ships, especially for the North Atlantic Alliance and EU states. Tens of millions of euros will be invested in equipment and security.
The brain of the operation is the design engineering institute, Marine Engineering, where 200 Romanian engineers and naval architects are responsible for designing the ships and under restricted access!
The Antena 1 Observator team exclusively filmed the transformations that DAMEN Naval Division Galati is going through.
