On October 31, 2025, ANCONAV – The Romanian Shipbuilders Association held its 100th General Assembly, hosted by VARD Shipyards Romania – Brăila.
The event carried triple significance: the celebration of the 100th ANCONAV General Assembly, the 30th anniversary of the Association, and the 85th anniversary of the Brăila Shipyard – a symbol of tradition and craftsmanship in Romania’s maritime sector.
The event took place in the conference hall of Brăila’s iconic Maria Filotti Theatre and Marine Engineering also participated.
